For the longest time my home office was a mess.

Papers everywhere, ramshackle keyboards and monitors… The room itself was a distraction.

So I knuckled down, figured out exactly what I needed to stay productive, and I whittled it down to this list. Yours might look different, but take a gander… there might be something here that works for you too!

Productive Lighting

These lights aren't only useful, they're beautiful too. They look good enough in my home office that I'm actually excited to go to work in the morning. Wild, I know. If you're going to spend all day focusing and sweating, it really helps having decor that makes you happy to be in the room.

Lighting: Nanoleaf Elements

Nanoleaf Elements set the mood for my day. When I need to focus, they can emit a cool white light. When I need to chill, I can leave it to a warmer tone. Otherwise, they rock a beautiful wood grain that matches my decor.

The Perfect Office is a Work in Progress

This is just the start! I've found that my office space evolves continually. This way I can make sure I'm adding what works and I'm ditching what doesn't.

One thing is for sure: I can't get enough of my Nanoleaf Elements lights.

They add natural lighting that can shift with my working rhythm. The software can work with Circadian timing, shift cool for times of focus, and go warm when you're relaxing. It helps that they look super classy too.
